Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Night Driver for Purfleet. You will work night shifts between 17:00 and 20:00, delivering to stores outside trading hours and handling keys to access locked stores.

The role offers ongoing rota-based work with a mandatory theory and practical driving assessment before starting. Requirements include 2 years on a valid Category C licence, CPC and Tachograph cards, and a professional, safety‑conscious approach to night driving.

Qualifications

• Two years on a valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid CPC and Tachograph cards
• Confident night driver able to work independently
• Professional, reliable attitude with a focus on safety

Responsibilities

• Delivering to stores outside of trading hours
• Be entrusted with keys to access and deliver to locked stores during the night
• Start times between 17:00 - 20:00, based on rota
• Regular, stable work on an ongoing rota
• Theory and practical driving assessment must be completed prior to starting
