Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Thurrock operates a 24-hour distribution network and is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to support UK deliveries from West Thurrock.

You will work 4-on 4-off night shifts with start times between 16:00 and 03:00, averaging around 40 hours per week. Roles include loading/unloading, curtain side trailers, and inter-site shuttles.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 license and valid CPC required.
• Minimum 2 years commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience in palletized goods distribution.
• Max 6 points on licence; no DD/DR endorsements.
• References from previous employers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver P&G products to UK customers with curtain side trailers.
• Unload at customer sites as required.
• Shuttle between P&G Distribution Centres; collect/load skeleton container.
• Ensure vehicle checks, load security, and compliance.
