DS Smith Fordham is seeking Night Shift Class 1 Drivers to join our fleet, operating modern articulated curtainsiders for palletised deliveries and paper reel collections across the UK. This role offers a safety-focused operations environment, CPC and tachograph compliance, and opportunities for overnight stays with expenses covered.

You will be part of a supportive transport team at the flagship site, with competitive salary and structured routes.

Formación

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence with ≤3 penalty points.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations (WTD, drivers’ hours).
• Professional attitude with a strong safety record.
• Reliable, flexible, and a team player.
• Good understanding of UK geography and route planning.
• Experience in a physically demanding role is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries nationwide.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage and incidents.
• Prepare trailers ready for loading/unloading.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and supervisors.
• Adhere to Driver CPC, tachograph, and working time regulations.
• Be available for occasional overnight stays with expenses covered.
