Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Class 1 Driver for our Stafford Fulfilment Centre. You will join a 24/7 multi-site transport team, performing trunking and store deliveries with a focus on safety and punctuality.

We offer varied shift patterns (4 on 4 off or 5 on 3 off) with night hours starting around 22:00, and a competitive day rate with night shift prem. A full HGV Class 1 licence and tachograph/card compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• A full clean driving licence.
• HGV Class 1 licence required.
• Digital tachograph card held.
• DQC/Driver CPC valid.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of driver legislation and tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

• Conducting efficient driver checks.
• Carrying out retail store deliveries or trunk work.
• Delivering on time, but always legal and safely, maintaining reputation for excellence.
• Flexible to do a variety of work.
