Job summary

Aligra Basingstoke is seeking an experienced forklift driver for a Night Shift role in Basingstoke. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload metal stock, and support a busy warehouse team.

The position offers consistent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 to 07:00, with training on a day shift for 1–2 weeks. A valid forklift licence and strong safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence with warehouse experience.
• Proven knowledge of night-work safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable wearing high-vis clothing and safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move metal stock.
• Perform general warehouse duties including stock picking, packing and organising inventory.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth night shift operations.
• Report equipment faults or hazards promptly.
