Select Meat in Hainault, Essex, is seeking a Food Production Operative to weigh, pack and label products to customer specs. This night-shift role runs 8:00 pm–5:00 am, six nights per week, approx. 54 hours.

You will ensure product labels, batch codes and descriptions are correct, perform quality checks and follow HACCP and hygiene procedures. The role offers training, opportunities for progression, and benefits such as annual salary reviews and 28 days’ holiday.

Formación

• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong timekeeping and attendance.

• Willingness to complete Level 2 Food Hygiene and Level 2 Health & Safety Awareness training.

Responsabilidades

• Weigh, pack and label products to customer specs.
• Label raw products with descriptions and batch codes.
• Label pre-packed goods with customer details before dispatch.
• Carry out quality checks for hygiene and safety.
• Follow SOPs, HACCP and safety guidelines.
• Operate packaging/labelling equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
