Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Food Hygiene Supervisor to lead a driven Cleaning team on an evening shift. You will support COSHH and risk assessments, drive hygiene audits, and manage health and safety with a focus on continuous improvement while controlling costs.

The role requires experience in Quality Assurance, strong leadership, and familiarity with HACCP, QA procedures and office-based reporting. This position is based on-site with a shift pattern Tue–Sat.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Experience in Quality Assurance.
• Clear understanding of HACCP, COSHH, QA & Management Procedures.
• Operational experience in a Food Manufacturing setting.
• Experience in managing budgets.
• Proven record of continuous improvement and change management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with COSHH assessments, risk assessments and safe working procedures, with follow-up.
• Contribute to continuous improvements of hygiene processes to achieve efficiencies and cost savings.
• Identify Health and Safety issues within the area, focusing on risk reduction.
• Record and investigate accidents/incidents and report to the site manager.
• Conduct hygiene audits related to Health & Safety, GMP and Finished Standards.
• Ensure internal audits are completed, including actions for Quality, Chemical usage, titration checks, overtime/headcount, KPI data, stores usage, swabbing, residual chemicals, water usage.
