Job summary

Senior Salmon seeks a reliable FLT Driver to join our team in Wisbech. You will transport goods, load and unload using forklifts, and use our warehouse management system to keep accurate records of shipments and inventory.

A solid mechanical knowledge of equipment helps you perform basic repairs when needed. This full-time night shift runs 10pm–6am and requires strict adherence to health and safety rules, excellent organization, and teamwork to optimise workflow.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Maintain records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory in the WMS.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Handle shipping and receiving and proper storage of materials.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations including heavy lifting.
