Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an FLT Driver to join a well-established manufacturer based in Ilminster, Somerset. The role offers competitive pay and a supportive team environment with weekly pay.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift to feed production lines, supply one-tonne boxes, and maintain stock records, all while following Health & Safety guidelines. Night shifts Mon-Thu, 6:30pm–4:00am, with temp-to-perm potential.

Qualifications

• Current counterbalance forklift licence is essential.
• Experience working in a busy production or manufacturing environment.
• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.
• Motivated, responsible, and reliable.
• Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Supply one-tonne boxes to feed production lines and operate the computerised stock system.
• Work in a busy production environment, ensuring smooth and safe material flow.
• Carry out all duties in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Maintain high standards and accuracy while working independently and as part of a team.
