Job summary

TXP is seeking field engineers for a nationwide preventative maintenance programme across multiple retail locations. The role involves night shifts, visiting one site per shift, and performing maintenance on IT and EPOS equipment.

You will be recording asset information, reporting issues, and completing all required project documentation using mobile devices, with training provided on the first site. Start date is immediate for 4-6 weeks of work, nationwide coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/EPOS maintenance or deployment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Comfortable with night work and travel to retail sites.
• Able to use smartphone/tablet/laptop to complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance on IT and EPOS equipment at retail sites.
• Clean, inspect handheld devices, printers, tills, and self‑scan units.
• Record asset information, report issues and complete project reports.
• Work independent on site and document activities with mobile devices.
