Job summary

Milgard Windows & Doors, part of MITER Brands, seeks an Extrusion Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead nightly extrusion operations at the Fife facility. You will supervise a production team, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive productivity.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing leadership in extrusion, strong coaching skills, and the ability to coordinate staffing, training, and shift assignments while delivering on schedule and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extrusion manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production metrics.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work night shift and support overtime or weekend operations as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support extrusion production team members during night shift operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Monitor daily production schedules to achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Coordinate staffing, training, and shift assignments to meet operational needs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain product quality standards and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Track production metrics and prepare operational reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, scrap reduction, efficiency, and team member engagement.
• Coach and develop team members through performance feedback and training.
• Enforce company policies and maintain a positive, accountable work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall plant performance and customer delivery expectations.
