Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is recruiting a hands-on Engineering Team Leader to oversee our poultry-processing night shift. You will lead a multi-skilled maintenance team, perform fault-finding on mechanical and electrical equipment, and drive safe, reliable production with a focus on uptime and continuous improvement.

You will be a time-served engineer with supervisory experience, able to manage breakdown responses, coach engineers, and collaborate with Operations to prioritise safety and performance

Qualifications

• Time-served, multi-skilled engineers with strong mechanical and electrical capability.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing; food/poultry advantageous.
• Has supervisory or senior engineer experience, or is ready for leadership.
• Confident fault-finders who remain calm and decisive under pressure.
• Leads by example and communicates clear expectations to teams.
• Able to work permanent nights on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead engineer and senior presence on shift with clear priorities.
• Carry out hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repairs.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and coordinate engineering response.
• Escalate and resolve technical issues and operating risks.
• Support, guide and develop engineers on shift; provide direction.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, safety and housekeeping.
