A well-known manufacturing company is seeking a Night Shift Engineer to join their team in Ringway, England. The role focuses on proactive and reactive maintenance, covering both electrical and mechanical engineering tasks in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a recognised apprenticeship in engineering. This permanent night shift position offers stability and the chance to contribute significantly to operational success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform proactive maintenance and site PMs.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
  • Work on both electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Engage in engineering projects such as commissioning and installations.
  • Identify and implement improvements for processes and machine output.
  • Adhere to health and safety rules on site.

Permanent Nights Monday - Friday shift

Overview

A well-known manufacturer is looking to add to their Night Shift engineering team and are ready to recruit now. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer who prefers the consistent night shift over a rotating shift pattern.

On the night shift, you will have the opportunity to focus on proactive and planned maintenance and engineering whilst also ensuring production levels are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Proactive maintenance and site PMs
  • Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
  • Working across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
  • Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
  • Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
  • Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements
  • Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
  • Experience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
