Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Night Shift Electrical Engineer for a 4 on 4 off nights role in Chiswick, London. The position offers a £61,000 annual salary with enhanced overtime and on-site meals. DBS check is required after offer.

The role covers planned and reactive maintenance, M&E plant support, and monitoring building systems overnight, ensuring safety, compliance and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Test & inspection).
• High voltage experience (AP status or HV awareness beneficial).
• Experience on a technical or critical site environment with shifts.
• IOSH Working Safely or similar health and safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site, ensuring safety and compliance at all times
• First-line support for M&E plant such as pumps, motors, drives, AHUs, LV switchgear, PLCs and SCADA systems
• Monitoring and optimising building systems during night operations to drive performance and efficiency
• Handling helpdesk requests with accurate documentation and timely responses
• Working with the shift team to maintain smooth site operations overnight
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and escalating issues where necessary
