Job summary

Ember, the UK's first fully-electric, zero-emission coach service, is seeking professional drivers for Livingston. Join a fast-growing team delivering a great passenger experience across Scotland.

As a driver you’ll be on the front line, handling customer needs, keeping coaches clean, and contributing to a positive environmental impact while embracing new technology and flexible shifts. Starting February 2026 with multiple start dates and competitive progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Full PCV licence: Category D minimum.
Up to date CPC and a digital tachograph card.
Ability to demonstrate high-quality driving, including smooth braking and safety.
Flexibility to work early, late or night shifts on any day of the week.

Responsibilities

Drive the coach and keep it moving, while being the main contact for customers with issues.
Assist passengers (bags, boarding) and maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle.
Learn and use new systems and technologies introduced by Ember.
Contribute ideas to improve processes and passenger experience.
