Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking team members for overnight store operations in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on preparing the store, stocking shelves, and ensuring a safe, clean, and accessible shopping environment for customers during late hours.

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types.
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day.
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers.
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas.
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely.
• Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you're trained and confident, Nightshift premium - in addition to the advertised hourly rate, a further £2.45 nightshift premium is paid for every hour worked between midnight - 5am (where applicable)
