The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Resident Doctor with a specialist interest in Adult Critical Care to join the team on a part-time, nights-only basis. You will contribute to ITU/HDU care, manage critically ill patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a pro rata salary of £76,000–£79,000, dependent on experience, with supportive on-site nursing and access to Consultant guidance for night coverage.

Qualificações

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK.
• ST4+ level training in Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthesia, or related Critical Care specialty.
• Post Grad qualification ( Royal College Exam )
• Demonstrable experience working within a Level 3 Adult Critical Care Unit.
• Ability and commitment to a nights-only working pattern on a long-term basis.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, assess, stabilise, and manage patients, including ventilatory support.
• Oversee patient predominantly HDU, following complex surgery across a range of specialties.
• Perform advanced procedures including central venous access, endotracheal intubation, and independent management of complex airways.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and facilitate safe discharges.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and ensure clear handovers.

Conhecimentos
