Job description

Luke Evans Bakery Ltd is a wholesale bakery supplying to the retail and catering trade, established in 1804. Our highly skilled bakers use only the finest ingredients and work day and night to ensure fresh delivery of bread and confectionery. We have our own fleet of vans for early morning deliveries, providing freshly baked products daily.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Night Shift Craft Baker role located in Alfreton. The Craft Baker will be responsible for bakery, baking, and bread production during night shifts. Shift times vary between a 2pm start and a 5.30 pm start, to complete an approx 40 hour week. Shift days are five shifts with no Saturday working.

  • Bakery and baking skills
  • Experience in bread production
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and quality in baking processes
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry bakery ingredients and products
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Food safety and hygiene certification
