Job summary

Vita Student is seeking a Night Shift Seasonal Customer Service Assistant in Manchester (First Street) to provide premium, personalised service to residents and manage overnight site upkeep. You will greet guests, handle enquiries, replenish stocks and conduct regular checks to ensure safety and cleanliness.

The role runs 9pm–6am, 27 hours weekly, with an FTC until 30 October 2026 and hourly pay of £13.45 (£15.07 with holiday pay). A flexible, friendly, multi-tasking attitude is required.

Qualifications

• An experienced customer service professional, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to customers.
• Cleaning will amount to a significant part of this position; hands-on, proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Front of House / Reception; greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Be on hand for questions which may arise.
• Maintain the upkeep of premium site & facilities; ensure communal areas are cleaned and maintained during night shifts.
• Ensure facilities are looked after respectfully by guests.
• Be on hand delivering solutions to issues that may arise.
• Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours surveying and reporting every area of the building.
• Replenish refreshment stock (coffee, tea, milk, vending products).
• Be the primary contact for any incident or emergency onsite.
• Maintain waste areas adhering to health & safety regulations.
