Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking an experienced CNC Turner for a night shift role in Northamptonshire. You will set up, operate and adjust CNC turning machines to manufacture precision metallic components.

The job requires reading GD&T drawings, selecting tooling, and ensuring high quality while meeting production deadlines. You will perform first-off inspections and maintain accurate records, collaborating with colleagues across shifts and contributing to continuous improvement and safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Machinist in precision engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, speeds/feeds and machining strategies.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, bore gauges).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and adjust CNC turning machines to produce precision components.
• Manufacture complex parts to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
• Select tooling, setups and machining strategies to meet specs.
• Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Maintain ERP records, time booking and job tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain safety standards.
