Job summary

First Base Employment Ltd in Poole, Dorset seeks a CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator for the night shift. You will set up and run CNC mill/turn machines, using FANUC controls to produce precision components to drawings.

In this role you will carry out in-process inspections, maintain quality and 5S/5C standards, and work independently through the night to meet production targets in a precision engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machinery.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC mill/turn lathe machines.
• Working with FANUC control systems to manufacture precision components.
• Producing components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Carrying out in-process inspections and checking own work against SPC requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Ensuring machinery and working areas are maintained in line with 5S/5C principles.
• Working independently to meet production requirements throughout the nightshift.
