Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a skilled team delivering precision‑engineered metallic components for track performance. You will set, operate and program multi‑axis CNC machines during a night shift, producing car components and pit equipment to exacting standards.

You’ll maintain accurate records, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with shift leads to maximise output while upholding health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating multi-axis machining centres.
• Experience machining small-batch precision components, preferably in motorsport or aerospace.
• Previous on-control programming experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture precision-machined components from drawings and job packs.
• Set and operate multi-axis CNC machines and controllers.
• Program parts online, fully or partially.
• Maintain programme, tooling and inspection records.
• Provide feedback to Senior Programmers and Manufacturing Eng. Team.
