Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a CNC Shift Lead for a night-shift position in Bristol. You will own and lead a night shift team, act as the technical point of contact on shift, and drive safe, efficient production with a focus on quality and problem solving on the shop floor.

The role requires a CNC machining background (turning/milling) with setter/operator experience and prior leadership. A strong reader of engineering drawings and tolerances is essential for success.

Qualifications

• CNC machining background with setter/operator experience.
• Previous leadership experience: Lead/Supervisor/Senior operator.
• Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Lead a night shift team in a CNC/precision engineering environment.
• Support CNC turning (lathe) and milling set ups: tool changes, offsets.
