Job summary

CMD Recruitment is seeking a CNC Supervisor / Team Leader to manage the night-shift production team in Devizes. This hands-on role combines CNC machining with leadership responsibilities to ensure targets, quality and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong CNC skills, and the ability to read drawings and use precision measuring tools. Night shift pattern with a shift allowance is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.
• Strong practical background in CNC machining.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the night-shift production team, allocating work and monitoring progress.
• Set and operate CNC machinery, including EDM equipment where applicable.
• Monitor production output, quality and machine performance.
• Deal with day-to-day production issues and support problem solving.
• Ensure engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements are followed.
• Promote safe working practices and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement and the development of team members.
