Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaning Supervisor for night shifts to lead a small team in delivering high standards of cleanliness across our sites in the UK. You will ensure adherence to the cleaning specification, supervise staff, and maintain safe, hygienic environments for customers and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience in cleaning, strong IT skills (MS Office), and a proactive approach to coaching, safety training, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Experience as a supervisor in a cleaning environment.
• Good IT skills in MS Office and related systems.
• Desire to lead a team and oversee tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and adapt hours.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of all areas per specification and assist with ad hoc duties.
• Manage a small team; handle rotas, holidays, and absences within budget.
• Deliver coaching and safety training to staff and keep records updated.
• Conduct weekly cleaning audits and escalate concerns for support.
• Hold weekly team meetings and briefings for clear communication.
• Order stock and consumables; maintain stock system and distribution.
• Interact with customers/clients and communicate at all levels.
• Plan high-level and deep cleaning works as required.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
