Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Night Shift Cleaning Operative to join our team at NATS in Southampton, delivering high standards of cleanliness in a critical environment. The role runs Saturday to Wednesday, 20:45 to 05:45, totalling 42 hours per week, with SC clearance required to be successful.

You will log tasks using the Merlin system, carry out cleaning duties to schedule, maintain equipment and chemicals safely, and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Experience using a CAFM system.
• Previous cleaning experience within commercial buildings.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional in your approach.
• Self-motivated, honest and able to work using your own initiative.
• Flexible and willing to undertake all required training.

Responsibilities

• Use Merlin system via a mobile device to log tasks, complete checks and record cleaning activities.
• Carry out cleaning duties in line with agreed schedules and site standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly at all times.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues whilst delivering excellent customer service.
