Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Southampton is seeking a Night Shift Cleaning Operative to support high standards in a critical operational environment at NATS. The role is full-time and permanent with a 42-hour week, Saturday to Wednesday, 20:45 to 05:45.

You will log tasks in the Merlin system, follow safety procedures, maintain equipment and build strong customer relationships to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Experience using a CAFM system.
• Previous cleaning experience within commercial buildings.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional in your approach.
• Self‑motivated, honest and able to work using your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Use the Merlin system via a mobile device to log tasks, complete checks and record cleaning activities.
• Carry out cleaning duties in line with agreed schedules and site standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly at all times.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues whilst delivering excellent customer service.

You'll play an important role in ensuring designated areas remain clean, safe and compliant, while supporting excellent service delivery for our customer.

Please note, due to the site operations, you will need to pass an SC Clearance to be successful in the role.
