Job summary

Cotteswold Dairy in Cheltenham is seeking a dependable HGV Driver to join our Haulage team. This Class 2 role involves delivering fresh dairy products to regional retailers in a temperature-controlled, multi-drop setup.

The role covers night shifts with weekend and bank holiday work, offering a competitive salary and opportunities for overtime and progression. Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) with Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card and good customer service skills.
• Physically fit for manual handling and multi-drop deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV vehicles (Category C) in compliance with UK laws and tachograph regulations.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and maintain stock rotation.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Load and unload products safely using proper equipment.
• Follow health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
• Work independently on the road while maintaining customer relationships.
