Job summary

Cotteswold Dairy Ltd. in Cheltenham is seeking a dependable HGV Driver to join our Haulage team at the Cheltenham Depot. This Class 2 role involves multi‑drop deliveries of fresh dairy products across the region in a temperature‑controlled environment.

You’ll work a 48‑hour week with night shifts, full training provided, CPC and tachograph compliance, and opportunities for overtime and career progression within a friendly, family‑owned business.

Qualifications

• Valid Full UK driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Strong communication and customer-facing attitude.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome.
• Full training and career development provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV (Category C) and complete multi-drop deliveries.
• Maintain product quality and stock rotation.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load/unload and use handling equipment.
• Follow health, food hygiene and security procedures.
• Work independently on the road while building customer relationships.
• Provide cover for colleagues during holidays or absences.
