Euro Car Parts in Tamworth is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our permanent night shift. You will drive safely, complete timely deliveries, and ensure all paperwork is accurate while performing pre- and post-shift vehicle checks.

This position offers steady weekday night work with a competitive hourly rate and a straightforward trunking role. Training is provided, with progression to the night shift pay once qualified.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsabilités

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally.
• Completing deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
• Delivering automotive parts to branches and customers as required.
• Ensuring all delivery and vehicle paperwork is completed accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and during shifts.
• Loading and unloading goods safely where required.
• Securing loads correctly and ensuring goods arrive in excellent condition.
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Communicating professionally with transport teams, depot staff and customers.
• Reporting any vehicle defects, delivery issues or delays to the relevant team.
