Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for night trunking in Warrington. You will be home after each shift with no loading/unloading required, supported by a dedicated team and the latest trucking tech.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph.
• Full CPC qualification.
• Must pass a CRB background check.
• Must pass a drugs & alcohol test.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to work evening shifts.
• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of EU drivers' hours and regulations.
• Licence with no more than 3 points in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers from pick up to destination.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues.
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
• Traction work only—drop/swaps of trailers; not required to load/unload; average 3 swaps per shift.
