Job summary

Pall-Ex Northampton is hiring a Class 1 night driver to join our team, working 8pm–6am, Monday to Friday. You’ll be responsible for health and safety, inspecting your vehicle and trailer, and completing a Defect Report if necessary.

You will ensure everything is right first time for customers, internal and external, and as a great communicator you’ll work hard to keep them happy, with support from a friendly team and dedicated upskilling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification card is required.
• Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws.
• Commitment to safe use of the roads.
• A 'can do' attitude and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and trailer for every shift and complete a Defect Report if necessary.
• Drive a truck from the fleet and ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Keep customers happy by communicating effectively and passing on queries to the manager.
