Home Bargains in Amesbury Distribution Centre is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering, Automation and Facilities team. You will lead planned preventative maintenance, quickly addressing issues to minimise downtime and keep the distribution centre and offices running smoothly.

Working with engineers and technicians, you will supervise contractors, manage assets, and develop technicians and apprentices, using ARMS and other systems to improve efficiency while

Qualifications

• Experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience supervising contractors.
• Working at heights and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled PPM tasks using ARMS system.
• Identify and rectify faults in building maintenance.
• Handle repair and work requests for distribution centre and offices.
• Supervise on-site contractors and ensure safety.
• Maintain inventory of critical spares.
• Ensure safety policies and working at height protocols.
• Develop and coach technicians and apprentices.
• Escalate maintenance issues to Team Manager.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
