Job summary

Bidfood Group in Reading is seeking an experienced Night Senior Driver to lead our transport operation from the front. You will coordinate despatch, support agency drivers, and handle incidents during night hours to ensure a smooth start to the day.

This hands-on role combines office duties with on-road coverage (C1- Driver). You’ll work closely with management to keep deliveries on track, maintain safety standards, and deliver excellent service to our customers.

Qualifications

• Experienced driver with a proactive approach to leadership.
• Full driving licence (Cat C or C+E) required.
• Able to coordinate driver despatch and support road operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead night operations and cover office tasks when needed.
• Coordinate driver despatch and support agency drivers.
• Work with management to keep transport operations running smoothly.
• Act as liaison between drivers and transport team and ensure customer service quality.
