The role:
We are looking for a Night Senior Carer to assist in the management and supervision of a small team of care and support workers, providing person-centred care at our Caer Gwent home.
Experience in a similar role and medication administration is required.
You will lead a small team of staff to create a homely environment for residents.
You will be responsible for ensuring that staff are effectively deployed to meet the needs of people with dementia; achieved through safe, effective and caring day to day care and support provision, which is well led and responsive to individuals’ needs, in accordance with Guild Care policies and procedures and the principles of best practice.

Essential Qualities:
-Experience of supervising others
-The post holder must be able to provide a satisfactory DBS
check
-The ability to keep Medication competency up to date
Committed to continuous professional development

Desirable Qualifications:
-Health and Safety qualification
-Qualification in care QCF (NVQ Level 3) or be willing to work
towards
-First Aid in the Workplace qualification
-Previous experience in Dementia Care/demonstrates
awareness in Dementia
