Job summary

You will oversee and maintain resident care, communicate needs to management, and administer medications while delivering person-centred care for dementia residents to ensure the best possible quality of life. The role offers 26 days of holidays plus 8 bank holidays, with training support and staff wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 in Social Care is required.
• NVQ 3 in Social Care is desirable, willing to complete.
• 4 GCSEs at pass/4 or above including English and Maths.
• Understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the care of residents and support home managers.
• Communicate residents' needs to management and liaise with families.
• Manage and safely administer residents' medications.
• Provide high levels of care to improve residents' quality of life.
