Senior Care Assistant - Night Shifts (Residential Home, Northampton) | £14.51 per hour
We're seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated night team at a welcoming residential care home in Northampton. If you're a dependable professional with a proven track record in elderly care and team supervision, we want to hear from you.
This is a key leadership role during night hours, ensuring residents receive exceptional care, dignity, and comfort throughout the night.

36 to 48 hours per week, Full-time contract - Job stability and consistent night shifts
8pm - 8am shifts - 12-hour night shifts with a regular routine / paid breaks

Your Responsibilities:
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will:
Deliver high-quality personal care and emotional support throughout the night
Supervise and support night Care Assistants, ensuring smooth overnight operations
Administer medication safely and in accordance with policies (training provided if needed)
Monitor residents' wellbeing, responding quickly to changes and reporting to senior staff
Maintain detailed records and handovers to ensure continuity of care
Ensure the home remains safe, clean, and calm throughout the night
What We're Looking For:
Experience in elderly care (essential)
Previous leadership or senior care assistant experience (preferred)
Medication Trained
Ability to commit to full-time night shifts (8pm - 8am)
