Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant to support Waitrose stores in Marlborough. You will help keep shelves stocked, fulfill online orders, and assist the team to deliver great customer service during night shifts.

This role offers 37.5 hours per week across seven days (22:00–08:00) with DBS and pre-employment checks as part of our commitments. You will work with a friendly team to maintain high standards of food safety and store presentation.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers’ doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns to those nearing sell-by dates.
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer orders and more.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
