Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant in the Waitrose division. The role offers varied part-time hours (16 hours+), across seven days, including evenings and weekends between 20:00 and 07:00.

You will help keep shelves stocked, fulfill online orders, and support the team with checkout and Click & Collect tasks. We value friendly, customer-focused Partners with an interest in food trends and a flexible approach to covering the branch needs.

Qualifications

• Clear communication to work with colleagues and customers.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is helpful.
• Interest in food trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for driver delivery.
• Reduce wastage by following product diligence and markdowns.
• Support the wider shop team including checkout and Click & Collect.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment and general shop duties.
