Night Registered Veterinary Nurse – Leamington Spa, Warwickshire (Part-time, Permanent)

• Excellent rota: 7 nights on, 14 nights off, averaging 28 hours per week, offering superb work/life balance.
• Competitive salary package: £21,000–£22,400 per year plus annual leave, CPD, bank holiday pay, and additional benefits.

The Role

A Night Registered Veterinary Nurse is required to join a dedicated overnight team in a modern 24‑hour hospital in Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high‑quality nursing care to inpatients during night shifts, including patient monitoring, treatment administration, and ensuring smooth communication between day and night teams.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional inpatient care and monitoring throughout the night.
• Supporting with surgical and medical procedures, including pre‑and post‑operative care.
• Handling admissions, discharges, and patient transfers.
• Conducting nurse‑led consults and scheduling 3 activities.
• Dispensing and checking medication in line with regulations.
• Maintaining professional standards and supporting effective team coordination.

Candidate Requirements

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in patient monitoring, emergency care, and consults.
• Team‑focused with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high‑quality care.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or influencing colleagues would be advantageous.
