Job summary

Ashlea Court Care Home is seeking Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join our clinical team. You will deliver high quality, clinically led care across shifts, administer medications, and monitor residents’ health while supporting a compassionate, person-centred approach.

You will lead shifts, guide the care team, maintain documentation and promote dignity, independence and wellbeing. PVG and NMC requirements apply, with progression opportunities within a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN is required.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, but all nurses keen to develop are welcome.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and ability to lead shifts and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, clinically led care across shifts in a patient-centred manner.

Our care home is nestled in the urban yet accessible Ashgill. We offer Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 86-residents.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £21.09 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week
• Paid PVG, Paid NMC, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For

• Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, however we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment
