Job description

Night Receptionist

Shifts: 4 on - 4 off.

Extra shifts / overtime available.

£19,576.10 per annum + 33% Night Shift Enhancement pay.

We are seeking a Night Receptionist to join our Reception Team in the Main Administration Building. The role involves working from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2-shift basis, including some bank holidays (4 on 4 off).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evening lock-up and securing buildings and gates across the site.
  • Monitoring CCTV systems, including main drive and barrier.
  • Conducting site patrols.
  • Escalating security and emergency incidents as necessary.
  • Meeting & greeting emergency services, directing them to incidents, handing over information files, and offering assistance if required.
  • Monitoring fire & intruder alarms and generator panels, responding when necessary.
  • Recording events, actions, and incidents in the logbook.
  • Being a car driver.
  • Performing any other ad-hoc tasks.

The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. Flexibility and team commitment are essential. Experience with Microsoft Office and previous security, reception, or administrative experience are desirable.
