Job summary

Travelodge Hull Central is seeking a friendly Night Reception Team Member on a Part Time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help keep the hotel running smoothly through the night. Responsibilities include patrolling corridors, addressing noise issues, and preparing for the next day’s operations.

No experience is required as full training will be given. You’ll be part of a supportive, family-feel team with flexible working options and opportunities to develop into management

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• You will warmly welcome guests and check them in.
• Excellent communication and a friendly approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and check them in efficiently.
• Walk hotel corridors to ensure guest comfort and handle issues like noise or disturbances.
• Set up rooms and public areas for the next day; prepare housekeeping trolleys and breakfast service.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar and assist with guest requests as needed.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
