Job summary

Travelodge Oxford Abingdon Road is hiring a Night Reception Team Member on a Full Time contract. No experience required; we provide full training. You will welcome guests, check them in during night shifts (23:00–07:00), and help prepare the hotel for the next day.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Friendly and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work nights and stay composed in busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and checking them in at night.
• Walk the corridors and address noise issues or any disturbances.
• Set up hotel for the next day, including housekeeping trolleys and breakfast prep.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar as needed.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
