Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is hiring a Quality Inspector at our Halesfield site. The role involves ensuring products meet specifications and performing required tests in a busy plastics environment.

You'll work full-time on the night shift with a pay rate of £12.71–£13.96 per hour, plus a weekly £50 shift allowance and provided lunch. Strong inspection and IT skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection experience is essential.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure with supervision.
• Knowledge of plastics and master batch industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC procedures meet product specifications and perform tests at set times.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and uphold housekeeping.
• Follow health and safety practices, including LOTO procedures.
• Attend monthly laboratory meetings with senior staff.
• Provide support to other departments and assist with work orders and sampling.
• Update SDS on Seirich database and communicate health and safety risks.
