Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a QA Supervisor for the Attleborough site to lead food safety and quality across night operations. You’ll work with Technical and Production teams to uphold GMP, HACCP, and allergen controls while steering a high-performing QA team.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, and a proactive safety culture within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• HACCP Level 4 is desirable
• Degree or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology, or Quality Management
• Proven experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or high-risk production environments
• Strong knowledge of BRC standards, GMP, HACCP, and allergen control
• Demonstrable leadership and team development skills
• Confident in problem-solving, auditing, and data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead Quality authority on night shift, driving food safety excellence
• Ensure full compliance with food safety standards, BRC, GMP, and allergen controls
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Technologists
• Embed a proactive food safety culture across production teams
• Use data analysis, KPIs, and root cause analysis to improve performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Support Operational Excellence (OPEX) and Technical strategy delivery
• Ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and brand standards every time
