Night PBS Support Worker (Female only)

Location and Employment Details
  • Taverham, Norfolk
  • Permanent, part-time (35 hours per week)
  • Pay £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum) with benefits including Health Cash Plan

Role Overview

Join us as a Positive Behaviour Support Worker to provide person-centred, strengths-based support to our customer (V), helping them reach their full potential. V has complex needs, including a moderate learning disability. She enjoys outdoor activities and outings to National Trust sites. V is bubbly, chatty, and loves singing and dancing.

Typical Day
  1. Supporting V to overcome barriers and lead a fulfilling life.
  2. Recognizing her strengths and helping her take small steps towards her dreams.
  3. Applying Positive Behavioural Support to promote independence and social inclusion.
  4. Monitoring her mental and physical health and managing risks to her wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Complex Care setting or willingness to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or distress behaviors.
  • Patience and adaptability to meet V's needs and circumstances.
  • Experience in positive risk management.
  • Driving license preferred but not essential.

  • Rotational shifts with occasional sleep-ins (additional pay).
  • Use of technology for recording care and communication.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training.
  • Enhanced DBS check required; we cover costs.
  • Driving license preferred, but not mandatory for night shifts.
