£26,436.80 per annum / £12.71 per hour, for 40 hours per week (5 days)

Are you a night owl?

We are seeking a Night Porter to join our team at voco Zeal Exeter Science Park, located at the entrance of Exeter Science Park, home to leading science, technology, engineering, maths, and medicine businesses in the South West. This premium 4-star hotel features 142 stylish bedrooms, a restaurant and bar showcasing local produce, a mini gym, gardens, and versatile meeting spaces. The hotel is 100% electric and offers a car park with 12 EV charging points.

Sustainability is central to our ethos. All team members are certified 'Carbon Literate', and we encourage participation in Carbon Awareness training. We expect our team to understand their environmental impact, actively contribute to emission reduction, and suggest ideas to enhance our sustainability efforts.

The primary responsibilities include assisting guests with luggage and travel arrangements, supporting night operations to meet guest requests (such as additional room amenities and serving food and beverages), and maintaining vigilance to ensure hotel safety. The role requires flexibility, calmness under pressure, and initiative to prepare the hotel for the day ahead.

We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering various shifts and hours. Flexibility is essential, especially during evenings and weekends. Shift patterns and hours are negotiable during the interview process.
