A leading hotel chain in Birmingham is seeking a Night Porter to oversee hotel operations from sundown to sunrise. The role includes managing the Food & Beverage Department, assisting guests, and conducting Health and Safety audits. Experience in a similar position is essential. The Night Porter is responsible for overseeing the hotel operations from sundown to sunrise. This hands-on role involves managing guest expectations and maintaining brand standards.
While guests sleep, the Night team ensures smooth operations. Your duties include managing the Food & Beverage Department during the night, welcoming guests, maintaining cleanliness in public areas, and preparing meeting and event spaces for the next day.
You will assist guests with luggage, handle inquiries, and conduct nightly Health and Safety audits. The role requires good organization and communication skills.
Experience in a similar role and night shift work is essential.
We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering flexible shifts and hours, with peak times during evenings and weekends. Shift patterns and hours are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
