Job summary

Champneys Night Porter role in the United Kingdom focuses on overnight Front of House support, ensuring safety, security and presentation across the resort. You’ll handle arrivals, guest requests, security checks and night-time administration to keep the property running smoothly.

The position requires a calm, reliable individual who can work night shifts independently and deliver high standards of guest service with thorough attention to safety. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests throughout the night.
• Support guest check-ins, check-outs and enquiries.
• Conduct regular security and safety patrols around the property.
• Ensure guest-facing areas are clean, tidy and presentable.
• Handle phone calls, wake-up calls and taxi bookings.
• Support luggage movements and guest requests as needed.
• Carry out night audit tasks and basic administrative duties.
• Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and other departments for smooth handovers.
• Report maintenance, safety or security issues promptly.
• Ensure fire exits and public areas are clear and compliant.
• Prepare the property for the morning team.

The Role
As Night Porter, you’ll support the overnight Front of House operation, delivering excellent guest service while maintaining safety, security and presentation standards across the property.

You’ll work closely with the Night Manager, handling arrivals, guest requests, security checks and night‑time administration, ensuring guests are comfortable and the resort is ready for the following day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing friendly, professional service to guests throughout the night
